Fred Scott is a born and bred Montana native. He grew up in Ranching, for many years owning and running his own Ranch operation in Checkerboard, close to White Suphar Springs.
In the late 1980’s Fred took his knowledge of Ranching, his love of the country and his natural Cowboy charm into Real Estate. Scott Western Realty was established in the late 90’s and Fred has spent the years since handling dozens of Montana Farm and Ranch transactions. He has represented buyers and sellers across a broad spectrum of Western real estate. From small agricultural land deals to multi million dollar Ranch sales like The Brillhart Ranch
As city boy from London, Fred has taken me under his wing and excused my ignorance of soils, grains and grass types. We have worked together on a number of deals and co-listed and sold Montana Farm and Ranch Property across Montana. Most recently The Hafla Ranch and The Clarks Fork River Ranch. We have traveled many miles of this great State together, often (to me) at outrageously early hours. Cowboys don’t like “burning daylight”. Working alongside Fred has nurtured my love and appreciation for this land. It has broadened my scope of knowledge in Real estate. I hope we will travel many more miles.
